I am trying to get back into blogging on a more regular basis now...I can almost see that light at the end of the tunnel, lol...I really want to thank all my wonderful friends and clients for being so understanding during a really busy and changing year for me. Between going full time in photography, moving, re-modeling (which we are STILL doing ;) and trying to catch up on my editing from this fall/christmas/wedding season, I was beginning to think I was in over my head. I was actually for a while, but this winter is giving me a chance to start fresh, get caught up and now I have a whole new plan in place for all my sessions starting this year. It's been a long time coming, but I'm so glad to have a system now instead of the insanity that has been my life for over a year now. Thank you all again, and I will be posting at least twice a week for a while to catch you all up on some sessions that I never had a chance to blog :)

These are very special people in my life :) This is Eryn & her daughter Miss K. You may remember this post with them in it :) We got together to do some fall portraits and some for their Christmas Card...We shot them just right over the road at one of our mutual friend's house...It was alot of fun as usual and they made my job easy :) LOVE YOU GIRLS!!

The "M" Family

LOOOOOOOOONG TIME NO SEE YALL!! I'm super sorry about my blogging, well the lack of it anyway. This is the busiest time of year for photographers, and as a result, my normal lack of blogging is actually worse, lol! But this will make up for it, I PROMISE!! :)

This is the AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS "M" Family! They live in Birmingham, but were up for a visit and some football the day we got together to shoot some family shots! :)
I had a blast with Miss "A", the oldest! She was super fun and full of energy, just doin' her thang', lol...and miss "L", the baby, gave me to CUTEST smiles ever! We did alot of candid stuff which is some of my favorite shots to take! They are such a beautiful and loving family! You can just tell by the way they look at eachother!

Locks of Love :)

Being this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I haven't posted in a while due to my busy schedule and the fact that we are moving, lol...I wanted to take just a minute and post this here!
My mom passed away from cancer 6 years ago, and it began with Breast Cancer. She fought it for 13 years, and let's just say, it was a heck of a fight! I love her so much and I know I am so blessed that the Good Lord let us borrow her for the time he did! We all love and miss you MOM!!

Pretty much everyone knows that Kate Kate has SUPER long hair. Well, she has been begging us to get it cut for a while now. Let's just say, this was harder for Mom and Dad than it was for her, lol! To me, her hair became such a part of her, that it was so hard for me to imagine her without it! Well, we finally gave in and let our little miss cut her hair for Locks of Love! We know that this will help some other child and their family that is struggling with this awful disease and we couldn't be more proud of her. She completley understands that some other little girl will get a wig made from her hair and she is thrilled about it! :) I believe we have one special little girl on our hands :)

Here is Kate a few weeks before on the left in a little "mini shoot" I did with her because we wanted to capture some pics of her before the cut!

And on the right, her super cute and bouncy new haircut! hehe...She absolutely loves it and so do we...We have had more people tell her how much more grown up and tall she looks, haha...We think she looks taller because you can actually see her back, lol!

My SWEET Miss "S"

Well, this shoot was very special to me...because my sweet little Miss "S" was my first customer 1 year ago in August...that's right, I've been in the photography business 1 year! WOO HOO...lol!
Anyone who knows me, knows how special this family is to me...Lori, her mom, is one of my biggest fans and the reason I am where I am today! :) She took that step of faith out on me one year ago, and now, I am a full time photographer!! She's my SISTER in more ways than one :)

I also think Lori holds the record for the most sessions with me, lol...I'm pretty sure this is #5 if I counted right, lol! In all seriousness, this family (ALL OF YOU) have supported me and filled my life with joy beyond what I could ever express! They lift me up with their words, their hugs, and their support and I will always thank the Lord above for their presence in our life!

Miss "S" is such a little stinker...Her smile just lights up my day! She was so fun that day and I am pretty sure I told Lori that "I just loooooooooove your kids" like 50 times, lol...They are just so warm and fun and so easy to get natural smiles and personality from!

I also want to thank our special "assistant" for that day, "BILL" , haha...It should definately be a tradition, every time we do pics, "Bill" should be there. It wouldn't be right otherwise...and I do have a blackmail picture of our wonderful assistant...I'll be holding onto that for later, LOL!!!!

The "T" Kiddos :)

These are a few of the words I use to describe these kiddos: FUN, UNIQUE, HILARIOUS & my favorite one, CAMERA HAMS! hehe...These kids were such a blast and I just have to tell you, the girls and I would have shot pics all night long, lol...their grandmother came along and was shooting their pics after we were finished while I was talking with thier Mom, haha!

Mom and Dad, these are some beautiful and wonderful kids yall have! I enjoyed every minute of this session and I can't wait to do your family pictures this fall! I honestly can say this wasn't like work at all...It was super fun and I couldn't have asked for any better subjects :)

I did ball team pictures for their travel ball team this past weekend and the girls were anxious to see them...so here you go girls...I hope yall love them as much as I do! I had so much fun with yall!
