NEW PRICING & A NEW UPDATE! :)

Hey yall!! Well, I come to you and admit defeat!! I have slacked on blogging once again...the re-model and catching up on weddings has taken over...plus we have found out we are gonna have another baby!! YAY!!! We are really excited, and overwhelmed at the same time!

Well, the reason for this blog, is several things...first of all, new pricing is in place on my website...this is my full time job now so I have to charge a little more on my session fee, and lab prices change, so that affected mine...they are just tiny adjustments...you can see it all on my website at http://www.stephaniebryan.com/ and click on pricing and info :) The main thing is my session fee which is now: $50 then just $1-$2 adjustments on most prints. The other new thing is that I will not be doing the $85 CD special anymore :( But you can still purchase images on CD at $6 each!

Also, we are moving this weekend, and after today, I will be without Internet for a week or so...I can still answer emails and facebook msg. through my blackberry, (if it is working right...which hardly ever happens, lol) but if you place an order, I will place it as soon as my internet is back on...I will let yall know as quick as it is up and running :)

And, just a couple quick pics for a blog post...here is our first sonogram of baby bryan 2 :) hehe. My due date is: 10-8-2010!!!

Eryn & Miss K, take 2 ;)

I am trying to get back into blogging on a more regular basis now...I can almost see that light at the end of the tunnel, lol...I really want to thank all my wonderful friends and clients for being so understanding during a really busy and changing year for me. Between going full time in photography, moving, re-modeling (which we are STILL doing ;) and trying to catch up on my editing from this fall/christmas/wedding season, I was beginning to think I was in over my head. I was actually for a while, but this winter is giving me a chance to start fresh, get caught up and now I have a whole new plan in place for all my sessions starting this year. It's been a long time coming, but I'm so glad to have a system now instead of the insanity that has been my life for over a year now. Thank you all again, and I will be posting at least twice a week for a while to catch you all up on some sessions that I never had a chance to blog :)

These are very special people in my life :) This is Eryn & her daughter Miss K. You may remember this post with them in it :) We got together to do some fall portraits and some for their Christmas Card...We shot them just right over the road at one of our mutual friend's house...It was alot of fun as usual and they made my job easy :) LOVE YOU GIRLS!!

Merry Christmas & an Update :)

Well, it's that time of year...all the hustle and the bustle...Sorry I've neglected the blog...I was doing so much better at posting more regularly, and that just went ka-put...lol...I've been playing catch-up this fall and winter...trying to get orders out for christmas and to get to a better place for sessions starting at the first of the year :)

A little news on the homefront, we closed on our loan, FINALLY and are about to start our re-modeling after Christmas...plus, my new camera came in...YAY!!! I still have ALOT of learning to do on it, (since it's a canon and i've been a nikon girl for years, lol) but i'm up for the challenge and can't wait to see what kind of images i can get with sucn an awesome camera.

I will be posting alot of my fall sessions and all during these next couple of months, along with some info on my new pricing and schedule for 2010. Not much is changing, but there will be a few things I would like to let everyone know about ahead of time. There will be a new system in place for seeing your sneek peek and getting your proofs ALOT faster. I can't wait to fill yall in! It's gonna be awesome!

Oh, and one more thing...I will be taking off for a few weeks while Kate is home from school...I am almost caught up with editing all the sessions I have the edit lists for, and I will be loading a few sessions that weren't for Christmas, but that is about all I will be doing during the next few weeks...I will still answer emails and be around...but I really need some family time and some special days with my girl! :) This is my first Chrismtas as a Professional Photographer only, so it's nice to be able to be home and hang out with the ones I love most! :)

Here are just a few from yesterday and today that I took of Kate with the new camera...Of course she's being silly in at least 1, lol...the black and white one is from yesterday...I think i shot maybe 6 pics of her outside after school before she told me she was freezing and starving, lol...and the other 2 are from a bit ago...she had her antlers on and I just HAD to get a couple quick ones to post on the blog with the one from yesterday...she cracks me up!

CHRISTMAS CARDS 2009

FINALLY!!! I have Christmas Card Examples for this years cards. These are from the site where I got them from, so these are not my pictures...This was the quickest way for me to get them up...I can change colors and I will do some tomorrow and re-post them for you to see. They all have numbers, so when ordering, just let me know which one you like and if you would like to see it in different colors. I will load it on my site for your approval, and then place your order once payment is recieved. :)

You'll notice, most of these have an option for the inside. These are new folded cards for this year. You can choose the design and just do a flat card if you wish. The inside option is only if you would like a folded card.

They are all available in sets of 25 and include the envelopes :)

25 FOLDED 5x7 cards: $44.00

The "M" Family

LOOOOOOOOONG TIME NO SEE YALL!! I'm super sorry about my blogging, well the lack of it anyway. This is the busiest time of year for photographers, and as a result, my normal lack of blogging is actually worse, lol! But this will make up for it, I PROMISE!! :)

This is the AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS "M" Family! They live in Birmingham, but were up for a visit and some football the day we got together to shoot some family shots! :)
I had a blast with Miss "A", the oldest! She was super fun and full of energy, just doin' her thang', lol...and miss "L", the baby, gave me to CUTEST smiles ever! We did alot of candid stuff which is some of my favorite shots to take! They are such a beautiful and loving family! You can just tell by the way they look at eachother!

Thank you Joanna and Jonathan for such a fun day and for asking me to capture these for yall! I hope you enjoy these! :)

Locks of Love :)

Being this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I haven't posted in a while due to my busy schedule and the fact that we are moving, lol...I wanted to take just a minute and post this here!
My mom passed away from cancer 6 years ago, and it began with Breast Cancer. She fought it for 13 years, and let's just say, it was a heck of a fight! I love her so much and I know I am so blessed that the Good Lord let us borrow her for the time he did! We all love and miss you MOM!!

Pretty much everyone knows that Kate Kate has SUPER long hair. Well, she has been begging us to get it cut for a while now. Let's just say, this was harder for Mom and Dad than it was for her, lol! To me, her hair became such a part of her, that it was so hard for me to imagine her without it! Well, we finally gave in and let our little miss cut her hair for Locks of Love! We know that this will help some other child and their family that is struggling with this awful disease and we couldn't be more proud of her. She completley understands that some other little girl will get a wig made from her hair and she is thrilled about it! :) I believe we have one special little girl on our hands :)

Here is Kate a few weeks before on the left in a little "mini shoot" I did with her because we wanted to capture some pics of her before the cut!

And on the right, her super cute and bouncy new haircut! hehe...She absolutely loves it and so do we...We have had more people tell her how much more grown up and tall she looks, haha...We think she looks taller because you can actually see her back, lol!

John & Valerie : Engaged!

This is my WONDERFUL friend Valerie and her fiance' John! I had the best time photographing them! Let's just say, there are some super funny shots of John in there...lol...but I was a good friend and kept those off the blog and the website...hehe! We are doing their wedding next month and I'm so stoked!!! It's gonna be a BLAST!!

My SWEET Miss "S"

Well, this shoot was very special to me...because my sweet little Miss "S" was my first customer 1 year ago in August...that's right, I've been in the photography business 1 year! WOO HOO...lol!
Anyone who knows me, knows how special this family is to me...Lori, her mom, is one of my biggest fans and the reason I am where I am today! :) She took that step of faith out on me one year ago, and now, I am a full time photographer!! She's my SISTER in more ways than one :)

I also think Lori holds the record for the most sessions with me, lol...I'm pretty sure this is #5 if I counted right, lol! In all seriousness, this family (ALL OF YOU) have supported me and filled my life with joy beyond what I could ever express! They lift me up with their words, their hugs, and their support and I will always thank the Lord above for their presence in our life!

Miss "S" is such a little stinker...Her smile just lights up my day! She was so fun that day and I am pretty sure I told Lori that "I just loooooooooove your kids" like 50 times, lol...They are just so warm and fun and so easy to get natural smiles and personality from!

I also want to thank our special "assistant" for that day, "BILL" , haha...It should definately be a tradition, every time we do pics, "Bill" should be there. It wouldn't be right otherwise...and I do have a blackmail picture of our wonderful assistant...I'll be holding onto that for later, LOL!!!!
